We are so excited to introduce you to our very first Milibelle Dancer Of The Week... Telia Couper
At only nine years old, Telia has been dancing for six years in a range of styles including; Ballet, Tap, Irish, Cheer and of course her two favourites Jazz and Lyrical. Sunshine Coast Sharks Dance and Cheerleading is her dance home and Telia loves her performance team class, saying “I think we are all uniquely beautiful and special but I love my cheer/dance family. Our motto is ‘Together we can, family we are.”
We are so excited to introduce Telia to you, keep reading to find out just how special she is!
Telia loves her dance teachers and truly appreciates the roles they each play in her dance education. “I love my studio and my teachers, they are all my favourites for different reasons, Miss Toni is tougher on me but this only brings out my best. Miss Taylor inspires me every week and I hope to one day have my own studio like her. Miss Nat is my fun teacher, she pushes me to be better and nobody is more excited for us when we achieve our goals!”
Miss Taylor is Telia’s favourite choreographer and she loves dance because it makes her happy and she loves performing on the stage!
When asked what makes her special, Telia says “I don’t know! I think we are all uniquely beautiful and special.”
We think Telia is so magical and we can’t wait to see what’s in store for her in the future!
